Frequently Asked Questions

I booked my first class. What should i expect?

Yay! You’re coming to the farm. We are located in a residential area and we are a backyard program. We have a shaded area and picnic tables. We have all animals locked up except for the occasional chicken demonstration. We teach kids about simple backyard farming and gardening skills. We like to show things on a small scale so kids can replicate them in their own spaces.

What should i bring?

We ask that kids wear closed toed shoes at the farm and dress according to the weather as it can be unpredictable. (If class is ever predicted to rain or snow you will be refunded for the day and class will be cancelled, we will cancel for excessive heat days occasionally as well as we are outside). Other than that, just an adult to stay with you.

What kinds of animals do you have?

Our most popular class is all about raising chickens. We do have goats and pigs as well. We have a variety of birds like pheasants and quail and even our favorite blind duck Stevie.

Can we do a private class? Part of a homeschool group?

Of course! We can do this on our off season as well with enough time to prepare. We offer scheduled private group glasses and homeschool co op classes at a discounted rate, just shoot us an email or reach out to us on Instagram to plan!

Can i have a party at the farm?

We’d love to host a small birthday party for your little farmer. We provide the space, the animals, and fun talks about them. You’ll have to bring your own decor, food, etc. Reach out to us to have a cute farm inspired backyard birthday party.
